Chapter 1, we delve into Skilled Immigration, understanding its
definition, importance, and eligibility criteria in the UK. We explore the
Points-Based System, employment offers, and rights and protections for skilled
immigrants. Furthermore, we analyze the advantages skilled immigration brings
to the UK economy, such as cultural diversity, innovation, labor shortage
solutions, economic growth, and global networks.
Chapter 2 focuses on Unskilled Immigration, introducing its characteristics and entry-level job opportunities. We examine the significance of labor market testing and the rights and protections for unskilled workers. Additionally, we analyze the impact of unskilled immigration on the UK economy, including contributions to essential industries, economic productivity, and its role in economic mobility. Challenges and considerations related to unskilled immigration will also be discussed.
